La Norma practical side:
This cosy ski resort is set in the heart of the Savoy area, in the French Alps at the entrance of the Vanoise massif. La Norma is one of the easiest French ski resorts to get to since it is 10 minutes away by car from the Modane railway station and a motorway exit.
The resort's centre is at 1,350m on a picturesque tree covered plateau that is situated right next to the ski slopes.
The small pedestrian village is car free, with wooden buildings and a central shopping area that has everything you need. When there is enough snow you can jump on your skis and ski down to the lifts.
